A plaster painting kit is a creative activity kit built around a plaster piece that you paint yourself. It can turn a simple craft moment into a birthday party activity, a baby-shower keepsake, a personalised gift or a screen-free activity at home.
At Jubiloo, we make our plaster items in small batches using our own moulds. Each kit is designed to make the creative part easy: choose a piece, paint it in your own colours and make it your own.
A paint-your-own plaster kit is a delivered craft product, not a booking at a pottery studio. The exact contents, product style and personalisation options vary, so always check the relevant product page before ordering.
How does a plaster painting kit work?
The idea is simple:
- Choose the kit or plaster item that suits the occasion.
- Set up a protected table or work surface.
- Follow the instructions supplied with the kit.
- Paint the plaster piece in your own colours.
- Keep, display or gift the finished result.
There is no “right” finished look. That is part of the appeal: two children can start with the same type of plaster piece and end with completely different creations.
What can you use a plaster painting kit for?
A plaster painting kit can work in several ways.
A birthday party activity and party favour
Instead of handing out a generic loot bag at the end of a party, a paint kit can give each guest something to do and something to take home.
It works especially well when a party needs a calm creative moment between food, games and cake. For larger quantities or a specific event date, contact Jubiloo before ordering so that we can help you choose the right option.
A baby shower or gender reveal keepsake
A creative activity gives guests something to gather around and a keepsake to remember the celebration. A paint-your-own plaster activity can be used as part of a baby shower, gender reveal or small family celebration.
The best option depends on the product, number of guests and how you want the activity to fit into the day. Check the product description or contact Jubiloo before placing a group order.
A personalised gift or room keepsake
Personalised bubble-letter kits can turn a name, initial or special word into something creative to paint and display. They are suited to gift giving, birthdays and children’s spaces.
When ordering a personalised item, check names and spellings carefully before payment. Once work has started, changes may not be possible.
A screen-free activity at home
A ready-to-paint plaster kit gives children a hands-on activity away from a screen. It can be a simple weekend project, a rainy-day activity or a small creative gift.
Adult supervision is important. Jubiloo kits are not suitable for children under 3 years old, and each kit should be used according to its supplied instructions and guidance.
What is included in a Jubiloo plaster painting kit?
Contents vary by product. The relevant product page is the source of truth for what comes with that particular kit, including the plaster item, paint, brush, instructions and any additional components.
Before ordering, check:
- The exact product and plaster design
- The number of kits or items needed
- Whether the product can be personalised
- The listed kit contents
- Age and supervision guidance
- Delivery cost and timing shown at checkout
This matters particularly for party and group orders. A product designed as a single creative gift may not be the same as a product designed for multiple guests.
What makes handmade plaster items different?
Handmade plaster items are not factory-identical. Small variations in finish, texture, shape, colour or packaging can happen as part of making items in small batches.
Those variations are part of the character of a handmade product. They should not affect the item’s intended use or materially change what was ordered. If you need clarity about a product before buying, ask before checkout and we will help where we can.
